Elon Musk was awarded the title Person of the Year by the Times magazine.
This seems to be a controversial choice, clashing opinions about him deserving it at all are coming to the surface, just like it has been for the whole time ever since he started doing things, like trying to get to Mars, Tesla, Neuralink etc.
For me personally, not having to live in close premises or work with him, just admiring his great Courage, Curiosity and Resilience no matter the cost, Elon Musk has been a star, a human being who is actually doing something new.
He is inventing stuff, finding new ways to be human and live on Earth as we have made it become, using his own resources to do so.
This is out of the ordinary.
A few years ago I was reading his biography fascinated by his power and determination to overcome personal trauma, a hostile environment growing up, bullies all around and a father who turned out to be a violence inducing person.
I still am inspired by his immense power to work, to concentrate and to use his brain in ways that very few can. Him becoming the person of the year does not come as a surprise. We live already in a world which was greatly influenced and crated by Elon Musk.
In deciding each December who should be Person of the Year, we look back but also aim to look forward. {...}

Elon Musk is disrupting the structures we are used to, there will be of course tension and negative opinions trying to make him stop or comply.
A Rocket does not stop once launched. I am happy to live in the same reality as Elon, I am Curios to see how far we can go.
He is seeing more, further, deeper than we do.
